Your opportunity


As a loan Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity of defining the service that will be delivered to both the participant and plan sponsor. You will be expected to manage 100+ client relationships and serve as a subject matter expert in retirement plan loans while providing consultative services to our plan sponsors. You will also be responsible for multiple operational processes within the group that include responding to client and internal partner inquiries timely and accurately, maintaining quality control and procedures, creating process improvements, mitigating risk to meet key deliverables, and exceeding client expectations.

Specifically, the position responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with plan sponsors to bring loans current by creating customized actionable plans, including consulting on corrective methodologies.
  • Research loan and payroll history to provide plan sponsors with resolution and accurate data.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with plan sponsors, determining the appropriate channel (email and/or telephone) on day to day plan loan needs.
  • Coordinate with internal business partners to provide quick turnaround around times on participant and plan sponsor requests.
  • Maintain quality control and create process improvements to meet key deliverables and exceed plan sponsor expectations.
  • Monitoring and coordination of incoming loan modification requests to ensure they are completed timely and accurately.
  • Participate in new plan and merger conversion meetings, assisting with new client onboarding efforts.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal errors.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, knowing how and when to call on other resources.
  • Creative thought process and a knack for challenging the status quo, focusing on continuous process improvement.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Financial or Retirement industry experience preferred but not required.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
