We’re looking for a Treasury Calypso Product Owner for one of the country’s top banks. This role is responsible for shaping and influencing systems and process change to optimize efficiency and treasury capabilities. The Treasury and Data Analytics Product Owner role executes and implements Quarterly Roadmaps aimed at the new target operating model for an efficient and extendable system framework, enhanced data governance, and improved workflow / tools to eliminate manual processes. The Product Owner guides the business vision and requirements success through the Treasury Scrum development teams. You will be responsible for leading the development and prioritization of requirements to achieve strategic value add business analysis and reporting as well as influencing and executing on the overall Treasury architecture landscape. You must have strong influencing skills and be energized about an opportunity to deliver automation and solve complex problems. A Product Owner requires outstanding communication skills with the ability to establish and build trusting relationships with individuals from the business and technology teams at all levels of the firm. This position requires business / systems analysis discipline, knowledge of workflow design, data governance and an ability to drive alignment toward a shared vision.

What you have


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years proven experience with the Calypso platform (cloud environment preferred)
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, derivatives, and post-trade processing (clearing, settlement, accounting)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Systems Analyst with software development teams preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, or Process Automation
  • Outstanding performer, persistent and pro-active leader, detail oriented, and driven to exceed expectations
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to define and prioritize product roadmaps aligned with business goals
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders vice versa
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced environments
  • Skilled communicator and negotiator with exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Advanced excel and power point skills desired
  • Ability to work hands on with team members to inspire and motivate all levels of staff towards both tactical and strategic delivery goals
  • Competent in Agile values, principles, and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc)
  • Understand backlog grooming, tracking, burndown/burn-up charts, & velocity
  • Experience facilitating workshops, demos, and sprint reviews to align teams and drive transparency
  • Proficient in SQL or other programming languages
