Duties: Champion the adoption of established coding practices and standards established by architects, be responsible for working with the on-shore and off-shore team during all phases of the software lifecycle (design, coding, testing, deployment, etc.), and set up implementation patterns to be adhered to by team members. Be a key player in the implementation and integration of modern, scalable cloud applications that support investment management business capabilities and enable future business growth. Collaborate across multiple teams and internal organizations. Design and optimize relational database schemas, implementing advanced features like indexes, stored procedures, and transactions to enhance performance and data integrity. Support ETL processes, designing and developing data integration workflows for extracting, transforming, and loading data into databases. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility. 

What you have


Job requirements: Master’s in Computer Science or a related field and 12 months of related progressive, post-bachelor’s experience. Experience must include 12 months involving the following: Developing enterprise class applications using .NET and C#; Angular/Backbone application clients; Database design and development in SQL and NoSQL; SOLID principles, design patterns, and 12-Factor App methodology; Cloud application environments of Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, or GCP; Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD); and Scrum framework and Agile principles.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
