Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with people leaders on corrective actions and performance improvement efforts, including coaching, written warnings, and terminations, in alignment with the firm’s Corrective Action Philosophy.
  • Conduct timely, thorough, and objective investigations into employee concerns, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
  • Perform exit interviews and analyze survey data to identify trends and insights.
  • Collaborate with the extended HR Risk team to support first line of defense initiatives and mitigate employment-related risks.
  • Educate leaders on employee relations topics, HR policies, conflict resolution, and performance management through 1:1 coaching and training sessions.
  • Provide HR Business Partners and business leaders with strategic insights on ER themes and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support compliance with employment law by promoting adherence to HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner with legal counsel on litigation matters, including discovery, preparation, and serving as a company representative when needed.
  • Ensure consistent and disciplined handling of employee matters.
  • Serve as a resource to team members, assisting with case reviews and documentation in the ServiceNow case management system.
  • Develop and implement solutions based on analysis to improve service and reduce risk.
  • Maintain and contribute to corporate policies, including drafting, revising, and aligning processes for consistent execution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on HR policies, procedures, exceptions, and performance management.
  • Lead acquisition and integration activities.
  • Drive and support HR-related projects across business needs.

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Employee Relations
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting workplace investigations related to EEO matters, including strong interviewing and documentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance, with proven application in prior roles
  • Experience in drafting, updating, and implementing corporate policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Skilled in facilitating and delivering management training programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Employee Relations experience within a geographically dispersed organization and/or as a people manager
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing capabilities to drive business outcomes, particularly in complex or ambiguous situations
  • Proficient in coaching and development, offering strategic guidance and fostering capability growth
  • Advanced analytical skills, including root cause analysis, providing clear recommendations and solutions
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry
  • Experience using HR Case Management Tracking systems
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources
