DAFgiving360™ is an independent nonprofit organization created to increase charitable giving in the U.S. We offer a donor-advised fund program and related philanthropic tools and guidance that empower donors to incorporate charitable planning into their everyday lives and make a bigger difference in the world. DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.

The role of the Charitable Consulting team is to create and deepen DAFgiving360 relationships with targeted business partners and clients that result in new accounts by raising awareness through education and partnerships at Schwab with advisors and clients. The Charitable Consulting Manager role will be based in Westlake, TX and will support Charitable Consulting in the Enterprise specialization for large, complex, nationwide advisors over $10 Billion in assets under management.

Premium Client Service Delivery:

  • Advisor and Donor onboarding support and complex account set up.
  • In depth understanding and awareness of enterprise RIA firms service delivery and operational needs.
  • General inquiry response from large, complex Enterprise advisory firms with a national presence.
  • Resolution oversight of account service-related issues or escalations by leveraging DAFgiving360 systems and ongoing collaboration with other Schwab business units.
  • Providing high touch support and responsiveness for strategic Enterprise relationships.
  • Proactive problem solving, seeking efficiency and recommending unique solutions for scale in serving complex enterprise advisory firms and donor relationships.

Consulting Account Management and Support:

  • Knowledge and understanding of industry trends related to RIA mergers and acquisitions. 
  • Application of strategic organizational priorities and segmentation to identify target partners and clients for prioritized engagement and consulting activities.
  • Meeting preparation and follow-up including agenda management, reporting, research and collateral distribution.
  • Developing and maintaining business partnerships across Schwab Advisor Services by providing charitable-specific training, reports out on growth with regular cadence of outreach.
  • Manage Salesforce CRM. Monitoring for integrity, entering non-sales related data, updates, generating reports.
  • Remediation and exception request documentation, related outreach, and reporting.

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • College degree required
  • 4+ years financial services experience required.
  • Experience in Institutional client service, retail financial services, or sales support roles.
  • Understanding of complex account management and service as it relates to investments, philanthropic vehicles and estate planning.
  • Strong client service skills with ability to anticipate and resolve problems with own initiative. 
  • Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills. 
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Schwab experience preferred 
  • Ability to interact effectively within all levels of organization.
  • Highly collaborative, team oriented.
  • Entrepreneurial, self- starter and highly flexible. Able to executive flawlessly especially under pressure.
  • Outgoing, relationship oriented. Willing and able to activate connections across the organization and with clients.
  • The good judgment required to carefully accommodate urgent requests from highly valued relationships with complex needs.
  • The ability to escalate or diffuse when needed.
  • Passion for charitable giving and making a difference.

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
