Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

The Internal Audit Department (IAD) of The Charles Schwab Corporation provides independent and objective assessments to determine whether all significant risks are identified and appropriately reported by management and risk functions to the Board and Executive Management. Internal Audit uses a systemic, disciplined approach to evaluate whether risks are adequately controlled, and to challenge Executive Management to improve the effectiveness of governance processes, risk management, and internal controls.

The department is split into five Enterprise Teams: Technology, Broker-Dealer/Asset Management, Bank, Corporate, and Professional Practices. All interns will have the opportunity to participate in department-wide functions and will have exposure to other groups within Internal Audit.

Internal Audit interns will apply and be aligned to specific IAD Enterprise Teams during their internship. This job posting is specific to the team(s) listed below.

The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths!
