Investor Advice Solutions consists of Schwab Wealth Advisory, Centralized Service & Operations and Wealth Strategies Consulting Group. Schwab Wealth Advisory is a premier, fee based and non-discretionary investment advisory solution providing clients with a personal relationship, specialized service and ongoing advice built on Schwab’s approach to investing. The Centralized Service & Operations group supports Fixed Income and Schwab Wealth Advisory clients as the client facing phone teams. The Wealth Strategies Consulting Group addresses complex wealth management needs of clients through our Planning and Wealth Strategy teams. Additionally, they provide specialized products to meet income generation, risk mitigation, and liquidity needs.

Our non-discretionary approach allows us to partner with investors and build lasting relationships while empowering clients to pursue their financial goals with confidence.  The cornerstone of those relationships lies in our ability to deliver outstanding service.  As a Service Team Manager you will play a critical role in building client loyalty, satisfaction and influence share of wallet by creating a consistent, responsive and world class service experience for our high net worth clientele.

The Service Team Manager will lead and manage their team of professionals within a collaborative work environment designed to support and grow the high net worth fee paying client base they serve.  Your demonstrated skill in leading teams, hiring and recruiting top talent, daily management of business operations and passion for employee development will be vital in providing direction and delivering results. The coaching you will provide to your team will be rooted in the unique service expectations that is inherent with high net worth clients. You demonstrate a solid acumen in assessing business risk and effectively resolving escalated client issues through a client’s eyes.  The Service Team Manager will ensure proper support structures are in place for providing a best in class service.  You will demonstrate an innovative mindset through identifying ways to improve processes and workflow in order to promote efficiency and productivity.  The Service Team Manager will leverage data and matrices to establish improvement opportunities, strategies and plans designed to influence a white glove service experience for our high net worth clients and their service expectations.

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness - The ability to notice, interpret, and anticipate others’ concerns and feelings, and to communicating this awareness empathetically. To connect with others in a way that fosters trust and creates collaborative relationship

What you have


We place a premium on high performance, quality service and the ability to execute the Schwab strategy. Essential skills include:

Required:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license required
  • Active and valid FINRA 66 license required (may consider a 120-day COE)
  • Active and valid FINRA 9/10 required (may consider a 120-day COE)
  • Minimum 5 years of financial services industry experience required

Preferred:

  • CFP® designation preferred
  • Minimum of 3 year’s supervisory/leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrated passion for coaching and developing individual contributors
  • Working knowledge of Schwab’s investment advisory products and offers
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
