The Operations Transformation Program team resides in the Operational Services Group at Charles Schwab and is responsible for leading critical initiatives that support Operations and the firm.  Initiatives include reducing the intake of paper across the firm while also reducing the firm’s cost associated with not-in-good-order (NIGO) client requests and implementing a tiered service within Operations.  The team is responsible for driving cross-functional improvements to client request workflows, targeting efficiency, accuracy, and a better client experience.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the analysis and influence priority across teams. This role is essential to driving data-driven decisions, aligning stakeholders, and executing scalable, client-centric solutions across Operations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in process improvement, data analysis, stakeholder management, and delivering enterprise programs in a matrixed environment.

The position is responsible for:

  • Problem solving – Analyze client request data and trends to identify root causes and prioritize opportunities
  • Communication – Provide data-driven insights and align stakeholders on recommendations and outcomes
  • Business Acumen – Understand importance of key business metrics and ability to align data analysis with business objectives
  • Execution – Deliver on the program strategy and drive decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Partnership – Foster strong partnerships across multiple areas of the business to gather insights, and inform and deliver upon the objectives

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Operational or similar experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in business analysis
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability in developing materials and effectively communicating information
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, relational databases
  • Bachelors degree

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional meetings
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-moving and collaborative work environment
  • Personally, and professionally aligned with Schwab's vision and values, and a strong interest in financial services and industry leading practices and innovation
