In Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS), Office of CISO, we provide platforms, services, and security operations capabilities which enable the firm to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes securely and safely. Securing our IT assets, data, and access to applications is the core of who we are and what we do.  We ensure only the appropriate entities have access to IT resources and that we adhere to best practices and standards to ensure a safe and compliant environment is maintained.

Identity and Access Management has an opening for a Sr Manager of Security Product Management, to provide technical guidance and lead team business analysts and engineers in the areas of Provisioning/De-provisioning, Role engineering, Directory, Highly Privileged Accounts, Analytics, and certifications. The individual will ensure adherence to policy and facilitate, Product life Cycle management, enhancement backlog management, work with various different stakeholders, implementation of leading-edge technology to position the organization for success – improving efficiency, increasing security posture, and supporting growth of the firm’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program.

What you will do

  • Provide guidance in the areas of provisioning and deprovisioning, role engineering, directory services, privileged account management, and certification processes within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization
  • Support the development and execution of IAM product strategies, ensuring solutions align with organizational policies, security standards, and business objectives
  • Manage the product life cycle for IAM technologies, including planning, enhancements, maintenance, and decommission activities
  • Implement and build production rollout plans of SailPoint IGA platform.
  • Own and prioritize the IAM product enhancement backlog, balancing technical improvements, business requirements, and operational demands
  • Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, security teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define product features, and deliver effective IAM solutions
  • Develop and monitor product performance metrics and KPI’s to assess success, drive improvements, and enhance user experience
  • Identify opportunities to optimize IAM processes and technologies, recommending enhancements to improve security, efficiency, and scalability
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and escalation point for complex IAM product issues, helping to troubleshoot and drive resolutions
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and represent IAM product management in project meetings, design discussions, and governance forums.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience in Implementation and building production rollout plans of SailPoint IGA platform.
  • 5+ years IAM product management/engineering experience, including but not limited to Identity, Access, SSO, MFA, IGA, PAM, and Directory Services.
  • Deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and LDAP
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to an actionable roadmap.
  • Confidence presenting and tailoring messaging to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership
  • Enjoy being an inspiring leader who naturally challenges the status quo
  • Ability to adapt with emerging IAM platforms and technologies through new and evolving cybersecurity trends and demands, changing customer trends, among other influences.
  • A passion for innovation, simplification, automation and commitment to ‘enabling’ the Schwab Cybersecurity mission.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple deliverables with minimal direction, instinct and drive to collaborate, seek knowledge and drive outcomes.
  • Product management experience in financial services, cybersecurity experience and / or exposure within the cybersecurity environment is a plus

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
