Schwab Asset Management Solutions (SAMS) Technology is part of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization which is responsible for the company’s use of information technology including all telecommunications, operations and client and business applications.

SAMS Technology is aligned to support the technology needs of Schwab Asset Management (SAMS) which is the investment advisor for Schwab’s proprietary mutual funds, referred to as the Schwab Funds; and it includes Schwab’s exchange-traded funds, referred to as the Schwab ETFs™. With over $370bn in assets under management, SAMS is the 3rd largest provider of index funds and the 7th largest provider of money market funds.

What you’ll do:

This is a Senior Manager -Business Analyst – Investments Technology role, with responsibilities including hands-on requirements gathering, documentation, leading project workstream and working in close collaboration with product owners and business stakeholders. 

The role will translate the business requirements in technology friendly language for implementation. This role will entail testing and supporting User acceptance testing following agile scrum process.

What you have


Senior Software Development and Engineering role - 

- 11+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business value

- Experience with Municipal bond trading and portfolio management is highly desirable.

- Experience with Investortools Perform is highly desirable.

- Experience with Fixed Income Separately managed accounts (SMA) business process is highly desirable.

- Solid experience with and understanding of Agile in developing epics, themes, user stories, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential.

- Experience with Separately Managed Accounts or Fixed Income asset management is preferred

- Prior data analysis and data mapping experiences with strong SQL skill is a must  

- Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
