Reporting into the Director, SAM Product Strategy and Development team, the Product Manager will be a key member of the team in supporting the growth of our SAM Model Portfolios business. In addition, the Product Manager may also provide support to other products in the multi-asset space such as target date, target risk, income, or sub-advised funds.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Management and production of client support and marketing collateral for SAM Model Portfolios, Asset Allocation frameworks and Capital Markets Expectations
  • Sales and distribution platform support and
  • Driving marketing initiatives.

More specifically, this role is expected to assist in the execution of product-based projects such as quarterly and annual reporting, product launch processes and product enhancements, product positioning, RFP responses, data validation/research, governance and regulatory communications.

This is an individual contributor position that requires a strong self-starter that works well both across teams and independently.

This full-time position, based in Denver is part of the Schwab Asset Management Product Management and Innovation team.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of financial services experience and a solid understanding of financial markets
  • 3+ years of product or project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7 License
  • Highly organized and detail-orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in an intensive, multiple-deliverable work environment
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service every day
  • Able to prioritize and manage workload independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Superior relationship-building skills
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
