We are looking for a Senior Digital Product Manager (individual contributor) for the Digital Trading and Wealth Management team within the broader Digital Advisor Services organization. As a product owner, you will play a key role in the delivery of the thinkpipes® trading platform solutions by:

• Staying connected with stakeholders and end users
• Understanding stakeholder outcomes and requirements then incorporating that into solutions
• Managing a roadmap and prioritizing a product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria, based on tech and stakeholder feedback, and changing business priorities
• Partnering with a broad variety of business partners, spanning marketing, compliance, client representatives, business leaders, and more
• Working with designers and engineers to align approaches and expected behaviors
• Helping build user awareness with training, self-help content, and platform updates
• Gathering and using data to drive informed decisions

Schwab is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology, and practice management to registered investment advisory firms. Schwab provides access to sophisticated wealth-management services that help advisors attract and retain affluent clients, as well as profitably grow, compete, and succeed in their business efforts. Digital Advisor Services is responsible for the Product Management of the digital platforms fee-based advisors use to interact with Schwab, supporting our Advisor Services (AS) enterprise. AS supports 50% of Schwab’s overall assets and >50% of Schwab’s net new assets.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of prior product owner experience 
• Well-documented scaled agile methodology experience
• 7+ years in the financial services industry serving RIAs with a deep understanding of trading and financial markets
• Demonstrated ability to showcase, troubleshoot, and intermediate relationships between Advisors and Product Developers
• A “can do” attitude that leans towards action and the ability to overcome obstacles and successfully execute on multiple projects simultaneously, at times under tight deadlines with minimal direction
• Team player with strong work ethic and high sense of urgency who can work well alone as well as with others on any given project/assignment
• Expert Communicator – Superior communication skills, able to communicate complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story to all job levels and job functions / organizations across the enterprise

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of prior product owner experience with Advisor Services
• Subject Matter Expert on the thinkpipes® or thinkorswim® platform

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
