The Digital Retail team is responsible for delivering world-class client experiences across Schwab.com, the Schwab Mobile app, and our digital messaging and content platforms. In Digital Retail we empower investors to Own Their Tomorrow by delivering industry-leading, exceptional digital experiences, supporting ~10 million unique monthly users and +150 million monthly logins.

We are seeking a dynamic and outcome-driven Senior Manager of Product Operations with a strong focus on communications, change management, and content creation. This role will be a critical enabler of our product transformation journey within Digital Retail organization, ensuring that teams adopt new ways of working, align to shared standards, and remain focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of product management practices and frameworks, coupled with the ability to craft compelling content and narratives. A background in marketing, consulting, content development, or storytelling is strongly preferred to help translate complex change into clear, engaging, and actionable guidance.

What you Lead

  • Develop and lead change management strategies to drive adoption of new product practices, processes, and tools across 100+ product teams.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, and Design leaders to embed outcome-focused thinking and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Identify and manage change risks, resistance, and adoption metrics.
  • Create and deliver engaging communications (presentations, newsletters, playbooks, FAQs, all hands, toolkits) that simplify complex product and transformation concepts.
    • Transform product management frameworks and PDLC processes into concise playbooks, toolkits, and templates with clear presentations.
  • Establish consistent narratives around transformation goals, outcomes, and progress across audiences.
  • Leverage marketing and content development skills to ensure communications are compelling, creative, and outcome-oriented.
  • Build and maintain content libraries that support product managers and teams in adopting new operating models and standards.
  • Partner with learning teams to create training, onboarding, and enablement programs that accelerate adoption.
  • Act as a visible champion for outcome-focused product management and operational excellence.

What you bring

  • Product & Business Acumen – Deep knowledge of product management, PDLC, and agile/lean practices with the ability to link product practices to business value and outcomes.
  • Change Leadership & Influence – Expertise in driving large-scale transformation, building adoption strategies, and influencing across complex, cross-functional organizations.
  • Strategic Communication & Storytelling – Ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and engaging content (playbooks, toolkits, presentations) that simplify complex concepts and inspire action.
  • Collaboration & Enablement – Strong cross-functional partner who equips teams with the tools, training, and frameworks to adopt new practices and deliver outcomes.
  • Execution & Continuous Improvement – Skilled at program management, measuring adoption and impact, and iterating strategies to ensure sustainable success.

What you have


  • 7+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or related functions with a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle (PDLC) and agile practices.
  • Strong background in change content development, marketing or other related function (preferred).
  • Proven ability to communicate product concepts, standards, and practices to diverse audiences in clear and compelling ways.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale change in a complex, cross-functional, or enterprise environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills; able to simplify complex frameworks into engaging content tailored to various audiences.
  • Ability to influence without authority, build trusted relationships, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills with proven ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Prosci or equivalent change management certification (preferred but not required).
