Employees may have the flexibility for a hybrid schedule, following our hybrid work flexibility program where they divide their time between working remotely or in the office. This role is expected to be in the office 4 days a week.

The Marketing Technology, Planning & Enablement team supports Schwab’s broader marketing organization by delivering the tools, technology, and processes needed to deliver our established outcomes.

As the Marketing Technology & Innovation, Senior Manager, you will lead the strategy, implementation, and adoption of new and developing marketing technology, including incorporating generative and agentic AI solutions to enhance marketing productivity, streamline workflows, and transform how the entire marketing organization delivers the best possible customer experience.


This role partners closely with stakeholders across marketing, technology, risk, and product teams to identify and deploy technology solutions that reduce manual work, accelerate time to market, and ensure compliance in a highly regulated environment. You will work to implement these rapidly evolving technologies to meaningfully reduce manual work, streamline processes, and increase speed to market across areas like content creation, regulatory and compliance reviews, activation, measurement and analysis, and more. By driving measurable improvements in individual productivity and implementing scalable technology driven solutions that directly address shared marketing pain points withing the marketing organization, your leadership will shape the future operating model Schwab’s marketing organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership on generative, agentic, and predictive AI technologies, along with other emerging marketing trends, to ensure responsible and effective adoption across teams.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, risk management and other industry developments to ensure responsible application of these technologies in-line with Schwab’s “through Client’s eyes” philosophy.
  • Collaboratively contribute to the Marketing Technology platform vision and roadmap, including ongoing evaluation of tools and technologies.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Artificial Intelligence for Schwab’s Marketing organization, aligning AI solutions with business needs.
  • Participate in model validation and performance assessments to assess business value of technology investments.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to AI and ML outputs, including hallucinations, privacy, data security and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and execute enablement and change management plans to onboard and empower teams to use AI tools and other new technologies effectively.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure alignment of priorities and execution.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7+ years of product management experience.
  • Demonstrable understanding of generative AI technologies and terminology (e.g., LLMs, RAG, system prompts, agentic frameworks, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience applying generative and agentic AI solutions against marketing use cases, preferably within a large organization.
  • Experience applying agile frameworks in complex, highly matrixed organizations (Scaled Agile, etc.).
  • Background in applied technology within a highly regulated industry: financial services, healthcare, telecoms/utilities, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving and process optimization capacities when dealing with complex digital ecosystems.
  • Dynamic relationship-building and collaborative skills; a strong teammate with experience working with others to champion initiatives across multiple departments.
  • Strong project management skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • Curiosity to continually learn and keep up to date with the latest GenAI and Marketing Technology trends, solutions, and use cases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated product management of AI platforms or solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a focus on clearly conveying complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Background in financial services and its associated regulatory requirements.
  • Experience establishing or participating in AI accelerators, centers of excellence, or pilot programs to drive innovation and adoption.
  • Various technology certifications, continuing education, or other relevant professional training
