Within Schwab’s Marketing organization, Digital, Education & Product Marketing is responsible for activating these opportunities with a 150-people team comprised of marketers, content creators, and digital experience, channel, and capability owners. We are dedicated to helping millions of clients each day to achieve their financial goals and drive growth for Schwab.

The Senior Manager of Planning & Integration enables this team’s success by facilitating alignment and integration across multiple functions within the team.

What you will do:

This role reports to the Managing Director, Digital, Education & Product Marketing, and will be part of the leadership team. The role focuses on four areas of responsibility:

  • Orchestrate marketing planning, coordination and reporting: Develop the annual team plan; communicate regular updates on accomplishments and upcoming priorities; produce dashboards and progress reporting across the team.
  • Lead team communication and storytelling: Develop and execute plans for ongoing communications, quarterly All Hands meetings, and regular leadership updates to highlight stories of key team accomplishments and their impact, as well as stories about our people that connect and inspire us. 
  • Facilitate leadership communication and collaboration: Develop agenda and manage Direct Reports meetings and offsites; create Powerpoint decks to support leadership presentations; contribute materials to broader Marketing organization plans and updates.
  • Lead special projects and cross-team initiatives: Work across the team and with internal partners, which may include other Marketing teams, business enterprises, risk management, and more, to ensure successful execution and deliver planned outcomes.

What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

Required Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 8+ years of work experience, preferably in consulting, internal business strategy, product management or marketing planning/strategy.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Able to leverage a range of channels from Teams, to email, to the Schweb, as well as PowerPoint and short text narratives.
  • Communicate with confidence and presence with senior leaders and partners.
  • Able to synthesize requests into standard templates or processes, to make it easy for others to contribute their part and deliver the collective outcome.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-starter, takes initiative to identify opportunities and solutions.
  • Highly organized, disciplined in planning ahead and meeting deadlines, able to deliver outcomes on your own and by effectively rallying others.
  • Strong results-orientation, able to solve problems with tenacity and creativity, can be counted on to get things done.
  • Dynamic relationship building and partnerships skills; effective collaborator and barrier-remover.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
