Schwab Data is focused on leveraging data to drive better business decisions and better outcomes. We are a trusted thought-partner who provides actionable insights in a consistent and timely manner. We leverage close, collaborative working relationships with analytics teams to apply technology solutions to a wide array of business problems and Business Intelligence needs.

The Enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) Tools and Capabilities Team is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Manager, Digital Product Management to lead the governance, support, and enablement of our enterprise BI tools and capabilities. This role plays a critical part in managing tool access, licenses, user support, and fostering a vibrant BI community. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BI platforms and a passion for enabling user success across the organization.

What you’ll do:

License Management:

  • Lead a new initiative focused on improving, enhancing, and automating access and license management across enterprise BI tools.
  • Oversee efficient license utilization for the full suite of enterprise BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Partner with STS technical teams, product owners, and Cross-Enterprise Data and Analytics leadership to ensure appropriate license allocation, renewal, and forecasting.
  • Leverage analytical skills to continuously evaluate license usage, communicate proactively about current capacities, and monitor data for opportunities.

Access Governance and Analysis:

  • Manage and analyze user access across BI platforms. Ensure proper access controls, compliance with security policies, and support audits and reporting.
  • Evaluate new access requests and opportunities to help streamline the creation of new access roles/requests and enable efficient access management practices for our BI users and leaders.

First-Line User Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for BI-related inquiries. Help users troubleshoot issues, connect them with the right resources, and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
  • Facilitate across product and technical teams to make sure our users connect with knowledgeable resources quickly and easily.
  • Leverage existing knowledge of BI tool space to drive towards solutions.

BI Community Leadership:

  • Implement a common approach to user feedback across the BI user community. This approach will provide end users with an easy way to provide feedback and play a critical role in backlog development for the platform teams.
  • Spearhead the efforts to expand the internal BI user community. Host office hours, knowledge-sharing sessions, and community events. Communicate product updates, platform changes, and best practices to keep the developer and analyst community informed and engaged.

Feedback Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive feedback loop to gather insights from the BI user community. Translate feedback into actionable improvements in collaboration with product owners and technical teams.
  • Bring ideas and discussion to the opportunity backlog reviews in an effort to provide the “voice of the business” for product enhancements.

BI Tool Training

  • Leverage user feedback to create and implement a business intelligence training roadmap in collaboration with Schwab’s Data Education organization.
  • Proactively identify training needs, inform requirements, and connect BI users with appropriate resources
