This position will be part of the Business Process Management Technology Team at Schwab and focuses on driving client-centricity, reducing time to market & increasing efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to grow and transform our business through driving significant step-change in our time to market, building more integrated client-centric experiences and designing solutions to support Smart Processing initiatives to automate and enhance Account Open and Account Maintenance workflows, and enabling project success via cross-functional coordination and ownership. As part of the Smart Processing Process Transformation End-to-End testing team, you will be providing testing services in support of enabling automation for Schwab’s Operation Teams allowing better client experiences and providing efficiencies for the business.

What you have


Required Qualifications: -

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or similar/equivalent area of study
  • Minimum 3 years Pega application testing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with driving and ensuring the quality of the operational business solutions to implement straight through processing for Account Open and Account Maintenance workflows for our clients including Document Ingestion through HyperScience, myQ, SPO, CAT and Client Central
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) testing techniques and test automation experience using Selenium WebDriver with Cucumber and CREED
  • 3+ years strong Experience in collaborating with the Business Partners, Technology Partners at various levels to execute the program level test strategy as per the organization objectives. 
  • Minimum 3 years hands on test automation/CREED framework experience utilizing GitHub and Bamboo.
  • 1-2 years of Schwab technology domain experience gained as a current or recent contractor or employee
  • Thorough understanding of Agile/SAFE software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
  • Responsible for developing, monitoring and executing test strategy, test plan, test cases, status reporting, issue management and collaborate with extended team members across the organization.
  • Self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
  • Strong debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions 
  • Strong communication & technical skills 
  • Provide QA sign off and RCA recommendations for new implementations to the Business Sponsor and ensure it is established as part of the Go/No Go process. 
  • Ensure Risks raised during testing are documented, communicated, appropriate action taken and understood by stakeholders. 
  • Interface with Schwab Business Operations product owner and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, QA, and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget.
  • Liaise with product teams, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to integrate project plans, testing schedules, and metrics reporting 
  • Implement standard Agile/SAFE methodologies, resolve test issues, track, and prioritize defects, record test results, participate in product readiness and release decisions 
  • Create artifacts for each project such as Test Plans, Test Strategy and Test Caes documentation.
  • Build automation to increase reuse and reduce regression effort.
  • Increase automation cycle execution run times and decrease manual analysis of results
  • Good knowledge of IT QA and E2E Test Management 
  • Lead and inspire teams through complex and often changing circumstances 
  • Deep understanding of exploratory testing practices 
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging defects and managing test cases (e.g., JIRA/MTM, Zephyr)
