We are looking for a Manager, IT Product Management role to join the Fixed Income Trading team. This individual should have a passion to develop innovative solutions, ability to simplify complex business requirements and design to deliver an end-to-end technology solution is key to success in this role.

Schwab Bond Source provides a comprehensive Fixed Income trading platform to Schwab's internal and external clients (schwab.com, Schwab Advisor Center) as well as external dealer and regulatory agency systems. The supporting team's mission is to deliver the best-in-class trading experience to Schwab's internal and external clients. Our goal is to deliver, high security, high availability and excellent customer service by ensuring the three systems are well maintained and continuously enhanced to meet the needs of our clients. What you are good at

  • Partnering and direct facilitation with teams at all levels; from in the weeds with developers, troubleshoot issues with stakeholders to offer work arounds.
  • Collaborates with product and technical teams to analyze, design, and translate non-functional requirements. Understand our applications from both technical and business perspectives
  • Hands-on experience with Fixed Income Trading domain to analyze and document business cases in FI trading.
  • Hands-on experience with SSOX for CD Algo pricing
  • Hands-on experience with Bloomberg terminal handle Fixed income inventory
  • Familiar with Trade corrections and Confirms
  • Work closely with the agile scrum teams and product owners to prioritize workflows.
  • Track and manage dependencies across lines of business and platforms.
  • Working in an Agile environment including iterative test development and working as part of a distributed engineering team.

What you have


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering 
  • Expert in developing, executing, and maintaining automation framework for webservices and Database Testing 
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools (Bitbucket, Jira, Zephyr, Bamboo) in an Agile work environment
  • Experience with fix 4.4 messaging for dealer quotes and Trades
  • Experience with Regulatory reporting to TRACE and MSRB
  • Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) to technically communicate with Application Architects, Development, QA peers, and Business partners
  • Must be a critical thinker, solutions-oriented with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and management
