Job Duties: Design, develop, and drive the next generation/cloud ready applications for financial research enterprise solutions. Participate in ground up modernization projects to improve user experience and collaborate with the technical architects to develop modern technical architectures. Develop rapid prototype solutions to enable the model research performed by quantitative model developers. Develop innovative proof of concepts to be adopted into enterprise tech stack. Analyze business problems and processes, help refine requirements, and design solutions for them. Search out and evangelize new and emerging technologies including open-source tools. Influence and implement improvements and efficiencies in the technical aspects of the development process. Participate in the agile process fostering collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and transparency. 

What you have


Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 48 months of related experience. Experience must include 48 months of experience in each of the following skills: Python based frameworks such as Dash and Dask; SQL and NoSQL databases, including Apache Spark, Kafka, and Plotly; Java programming using Spring framework; Java Springboot microservice applications with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and RabbitMQ, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Bamboo and Github Actions; and High performant Application Programming Interface (API) delivery at scale leveraging tools and technologies such as REST, GraphQL, Redis, or JMetrics. 

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
