The Managing Director, Digital Retail Integration Experiences will play a crucial role in furthering client experiences for the firm.  The Managing Director will have a strategic and executional role of integrating cross enterprise experiences into schwab.com and mobile platforms. 

Key Outcomes:

  • Articulate the vision for this team, building scalable practices, and innovating to drive optimized experiences.
  • Design and structure their team, manage across partners, and deliver best-in-class mobile, and web experiences in a fast-evolving industry.
  • Drive scalability, simplicity and consistency for clients across mobile and schwab.com for the firm to deliver delightful and innovative experiences.
  • Provide leadership for the UX design team for integrated experiences and maintain a focus on design and innovation in our mobile, web, digital, business, and technology sides of the firm.
  • Lead execution efforts on complex work by create processes to best manage the team and drive scale.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to optimize our experiences, while working with cross-functional with partners on capability design, client experience, and development.

What you have


Required Experience:

  • Proven experience providing end-to-end mobile and website product leadership in the financial services industry. 
  • Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and lead critical implementation projects for key offers and platforms.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively presenting to executive audiences.
  • Ability to anticipate the possible demands and outcomes of a particular task or situation – plans and prioritizes appropriately
  • High level of comfort operating at varying levels of depth and expertise (i.e., ability to lead executive level decisioning while also engaging working team members on more technical / product specific matters)
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment, making decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. 
  • An undergraduate is required; advanced degree is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in driving transformation, change and process improvement through people, process, and technology.
  • Strong competence interacting with and influencing senior leaders across business lines with purpose.
  • Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and senior level executive presence, thriving on initiating, building, and cultivating strong authentic relationships inside and outside the group.
  • Purpose driven leader who displays confidence and courage in business and talent decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and overseeing distinct teams with varied strengths.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, key players, external leaders and relationships and product expertise.
  • Ability to leverage Schwab's strength in industry to influence decisions, advocate for the interests of Schwab and our clients and shape the trends in the industry.
