Digital Fraud and Enterprise Middleware organization in Schwab is looking for an IT Program Manager Lead who will be responsible for planning, orchestrating, executing and managing cross-domain IT projects and programs for the entire organization.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and governance of various high-priority IT programs and Projects for the organization.
  • Manage and facility organizational intake process and collaborate with domain Production Owners and leaders to ensure proper prioritization and ownership.
  • Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, timeline and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Monitor program/project performance and progress, track KPIs and provide executive-level reporting on progress and risks.
  • Manage program/project level interdependencies, risks and facilitate problem-solving and resolution of stakeholder conflict.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Coach and mentors team members to remove roadblocks and drive project execution.
  • Proven ability to build a strong partnership and trust with stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively & succeed within a highly collaborative culture
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
  • Demonstrated sound business and technical acumen
  • Focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
  • Understanding of cross-functional dependencies and how they impact project execution
  • Solid understanding of various software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to execute with limited information and ambiguity

What you have


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in IT program/Project management with experience and proven track record in managing and delivering multiple medium to large, complex and cross functional projects/programs.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Both detail-oriented and has strategic vision.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, conflict solution, and risk/issue management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, MS project, SharePoint, Confluence, etc) and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, Agile Release Train, etc).

Preferred Skills:

  • Background/experience in financial services industry
  • PMP, PgMP or PMI-ACP certification
  • Understanding of software development, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
