Join our elite Crypto Posting System team as we support the Books and Records posting system for a new offering at Schwab. You will join the Trading Platform Strategy and Support (TAPSS) team, which manages Schwab’s trading and portfolio accounting platforms. Our team leverages deep business and technical expertise to uphold platform integrity through active participation in requirements, design, testing, and certification initiatives.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Owner who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Schwab’s crypto posting capabilities. This position requires a strategic thinker who can bridge business requirements with technology solutions, and who is energized by the challenge of integrating crypto and traditional trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product teams and roadmap for the Crypto Posting System, aligning with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements, prioritize features, and drive successful delivery.
  • Ensure platform integrity by participating in design, testing, and certification activities.
  • Effectively able to document business test cases and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including running and supporting UAT activities.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, providing context for detailed requirements and plans.
  • Communicate downstream impacts effectively and get alignment from downstream channels.

What you have


Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in the financial industry and/or trading systems, with a track record of establishing strategy across departments.
  • Proven ability to see and communicate the big picture, providing context for detailed requirements and project plans. Classification: Schwab Internal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document and review complex cross-functional business flows.
  • Demonstrated experience using CoPilot within the Atlassian toolset (JIRA and Confluence) to support story refinement, definition, and related agile processes

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in the crypto space.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a multi-location environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decisions, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment among cross-functional stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Good judgment in selecting competing priorities and demands which best advance Schwab’s business, and an ‘entrepreneurial’ mindset to adapt as necessary.
  • Track record of pursuing and maintaining high quality while delivering on tight schedules.
  • Ability to align and unify ALL stakeholders to a shared vision and a common focus, including senior leaders.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to see things through - from concept to implementation

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
