As a Communications Associate reporting to the MD of Business Management and Communications, you will play a key research and support role for the team responsible for internal and external CEO communications. This is an opportunity to work in close collaboration with a team of talented business partners and communicators in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in our corporate headquarters in Dallas/Fort Worth.

What you’ll do

• Stay up-to-date on Schwab’s proprietary market commentary, investor sentiment and trends, industry research, and metrics to create and maintain library of reference materials for use in internal and external engagements.
• Build relationships with key partners across the firm to ensure the team has current data, metrics.
• Help streamline team processes and unlock efficiencies by developing best practices for leveraging most current technology and tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
• Serve as a thought partner on trends and best practices in digital and social media communications, offering perspectives and ideas in support of communications objectives.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS degree in communications required
• 1-2 years of communications experience preferred in environments of similar scale and complexity
• Excellent written and verbal communications and editing skills, with an eye to messaging for a range of channels and audience types.
• Experience with and a passion for media relations and external engagement.
• Strong project management skills with exceptional organization, skills detail orientation and operational efficiency.
