Schwab’s Workplace Services supports retirement, stock plans and designated brokerage services for corporations and their employees. EquiView is Charles Schwab’s proprietary equity (stock plan) record keeping system used by corporate Stock Plan Services (SPS) clients. EquiView continues to be industry-leading and scalable solution that supports continued business growth. The WS Digital Product Management team is currently looking for a Sr. Manager, Digital Product Management with experience in equity compensation plan core record keeping leading development of digital products and experiences for our corporate B2b clients.

The EquiView Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that support the continued evolution of Schwab’s enterprise equity compensation platform. This role oversees major product enhancements, large scale client projects, system migrations, regulatory-driven changes, and internal operational initiatives that required deep knowledge of equity compensation practices, platform behavior, and multi-team coordination.

The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership experience paired with firsthand expertise in equity plan administration, stock plan systems, data conversions, and cross departmental collaboration. This individual will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, QA, Reporting, Client Services, and Compliance to ensure precise execution, on-time delivery, and high-quality outcomes across all EquiView initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Leadership & Execution – Lead end-to-end project management for complex product enhancements, multi-release initiatives, and regulatory and business driven platform updates. Manage timelines, scope, risk, dependencies, and resources needs. Drive UAT planning, test coordination, communication, and sign off for all initiatives under scope. Ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders, clearly communicating impacts, requirements, timelines, and operational considerations.
  • Collaborate with our team of product owners, system analysts, developers, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. You would manage the welfare of the core recordkeeping capabilities within Schwab EquiView at all stages of the product and release lifecycle including analyzing, defining strategy, and managing implementation of enhancements to existing and new capabilities.
  • Client Focus – Partner with the business and key stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, refine backlog items, and ensure requirements are fully executable. Work directly with Engineering and QA to support solution design, clarify functional behavior, and resolve complex platform issues. Collaborate with Client Services, Conversion, Product Support, and Operations teams to support client readiness, training, and post-launch adoption.
  • Strategy – Use your knowledge of equity plan recordkeeping and related to core recordkeeping to further the product vision for Workplace Services.
  • Execution – Own and drive all aspects required to bring new and enhanced stock plan capabilities to clients, including the definition, creation, development, and implementation of the solutions that help us achieve our mission.

Required Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial passion, professional persistence, and a perpetually positive attitude
  • Exceptional stock plan and product management skills - ability to synthesize data and stakeholder feedback into insights and actions.
  • 7+ years equity compensation, stock plan administration, executive compensation, and/or equity systems operations.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 718, IFRS2, IRS regulations, SEC Section 16 filings, and ESPP requirements
  • Experience working with multiple equity platforms (e.g., EquiView, Equity Edge, Share works, Global Shares, Insightsoftware.
  • Superior business analysis skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to see things through concept to implementation.
  • Ability to provide on-time delivery of project deliverables.
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment effectively and efficiently.
  • Experience participating in cross functional projects, with an emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign and/or impact to field and customer service.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working with Schwab technology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience in both issuer side equity administration, and recordkeeping/vendor side platforms operations is preferred.
