The Senior Manager, Digital Assets Accounting will play a critical role in building and operationalizing the accounting for the company’s digital asset offering, helping establish the foundation for future growth in this emerging area. This role requires a forward-thinking leader, designing accounting processes that scale as new products, platforms, and regulatory frameworks evolve. The position is highly visible, with frequent interaction across product, technology, risk, accounting policy, and regulatory reporting teams. Over time, this role will expand to include additional accounting responsibilities, supporting our broader mission to modernize and strengthen financial reporting across the organization.

What you have


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • 8-10 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with operational accounting with a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals
  • Experience working with technology teams to define requirements and build and test functionality
  • Demonstrated strength in developing and maintaining a strong internal control set for owned activities
  • Strong project management and process implementation skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner
  • Proven leadership ability to oversee multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

  • Be the accounting lead for digital assets products, from design through execution.
  • Partner with product, technology, and business leaders to bring digital asset offerings to market, ensuring appropriate financial reporting and control frameworks are in place.
  • Work closely with Accounting Policy to evaluate and apply technical accounting standards, including emerging guidance for digital assets.
  • Develop and maintain SOX controls and documentation tailored to digital asset activities.
  • Oversee the ongoing accounting for digital assets, including working to improve the processes over time. This also includes working with product and technology partners on evolving the related systems and other technology.
  • Support SEC and Regulatory Reporting teams by ensuring accuracy and transparency in digital asset-related disclosures.
  • Respond to questions from SEC Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, and external auditors regarding digital asset accounting matters.
  • Over time, assume additional accounting responsibilities.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects that enhance accounting capabilities and efficiencies.

In addition to the salary range, this position is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
