Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).  This role is expected to be in the office 4 days a week.

The Advisor Services Digital Experience Team is responsible for the management and optimization of Schwab Advisor Service's digital content websites, ensuring that advisors who come to Schwab, and grow with us once here, can navigate and find information easily.

We're seeking a Web & Content Marketing: Testing, Research and Optimization Strategies, Senior Manager, who is a Senior Digital Experience Leader to join our team. As an individual contributor, you’ll lead and execute research, test and optimization strategies to support marketing and content goals on our public and secure website sites (i.e. advisorservices.schwab.com), helping us ensure that these powerful channels are set up to deliver great experiences to advisors while delivering on our marketing and business objectives

A day in your life includes:

  • Building website optimization, research, and testing programs that drive data informed site and design improvements to deliver enhancements and accelerate innovation across the site experiences.
  • Owning, managing, and executing optimization roadmaps where you’ll inform and manage website performance testing, conversion rate optimizations as well as usability testing, and user research.
  • Leading channel performance and testing, where you’ll put into place recommendations for A/B testing and oversee associated vendor management and execution.
  • Collaborating with key partners across marketing and data analytics, you’ll recommend, inform and shape web personalization strategies for dynamic web content.
  • Supporting deeper reporting and analysis, collaborating with the team and data insights and analytics partners overseeing standardized dashboards and craft insights from the metrics.
  • Working closely with SEO/AEO marketing leads and experience owners to understand and build test plans.
  • Working side-by-side with digital channel owners and fellow marketers.
  • Pitching in on project teams to execute content and program development against optimization, marketing and campaign plans and requirements.
  • Working with agencies to bring our programs and site experiences to life.

You’re really good at:

  • You are a true Digital Marketer at heart:  and you pride yourself on having the test & learn marketing principles and chops. And with this you can walk the talk and stay at pace with your data and analytics and platform partners, helping them understand the marketing and business goals we collectively bring to life
  • Creating marketing briefs and test and learn plans. You’re a brief writing guru - using principles of testing, scalable measurement frameworks, and processes to write detail briefs that will help your work deliver on objectives.
  • Understanding objectives. Working across internal teams (strategy owners, research, agencies) to deeply understand goals and develop plans to meet them
  • Guiding working teams. You’re a natural leader and know how to influence and lead a project team; you know how to galvanize teams towards common goals
  • Getting to the point. You’re a rockstar at taking marketing and business requirements, extracting important points
  • Digital design experiences. You know what makes a website easy to use, including having a familiarity with the connections between data, analytics, website metrics/KPIs, conversion rate optimization, usability and A/B testing
  • Project and workflow management. Multiple project plans in flight? You’re on it! Production workflows need synchronizing and managing. No problem!
  • Collaborating. You enjoy team-based environments. You love giving--and getting--input and motivating others to achieve shared goals.
  • Asking questions: You're naturally curious and quickly raise your hand to ask questions or share your point of view.
  • Thinking big (or small): You live for brainstorming and strategic thinking, and you enjoy bringing ideas to life.
  • Working in gray areas. When things get murky, you stay cool, confident, and flexible
  • Following through. Responsibility is your middle name, and you aren't afraid to see projects through.
  • Taking action. You’re self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented. You're not afraid to make a decision and you've got the grit to figure things out.
  • Need to communicate: a recommendation, idea, or status on a slide (or two)? PowerPoint is your strength! A data spreadsheet is needed.  Bring it!
