Schwab’s newly formed Investment Platforms, Solutions, and Strategy (SIPSS) organization brings together leaders across existing and emerging product areas spanning digital assets, private markets, 3rd party products and platforms, separately managed accounts (SMAs), digital advice, and product strategy. SIPSS is focused on building a premier investment productsuiteto meet the evolving needs of our clients.

WithinSIPSS, theSeniorManager,InvestmentOffer Strategy, will be a part of the Investment & Offer Solutions (IOS) groupleaning into product strategy.  IOS is a team of curious, optimistic, and gritty employees responsible for managing our proprietary Separately Managed Account products and third-party product marketplaces (Alternative Investments, Managed Accounts, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Structured Products, Fixed Income, Annuities & Insurance, and 529). Our mission is to providethe bestexperience for Schwab clients that invest in these products, while growing a key revenue stream.

TheSenior Manager,InvestmentOffer Strategywill own discrete components of IOS’slong-termoffer strategy, serving as the primary strategist forhigh visibilityinitiatives from problem framing through executive decision.This rolewillalso collaborate closely with partners across Schwab in Retail, Advisor Services, Workplace, Schwab Asset Management, and corporate functions(e.g.,Risk,Finance, Legal, Compliance)todevelop go-forwardoffer strategy supportingRetailclients, RIAs, asset managers,and Schwab.This role sits at the center of IOS’s most critical strategic questions: wheredowe invest next?Howshouldour offer portfolio evolve over the next 3–5 years? Howdo wedifferentiateourplatformsina rapidly changing investment landscape?How do we best educate our field professionals on the wide suite of offers?Ifyou’recurious about answering these questionsand more,we’dlike to talk to you.

In this role,you’llreport to the Director, IOS Strategy.

What success looks like:

  • Establish yourself asatrustedthought leader for IOS and SIPSS leaders 
  • Lead and support key strategic projects in collaboration with IOS offer management leaders and theSIPSSsenior leadership team, including:
  • Conducting new product discovery
  • Performing in-depth research such as competitive analyses,fieldand client interviews, andidentifyingindustrybest practices
  • Designing and analyzingoffers/solutionsincluding market sizing, financial modeling, and regulatory and risk assessments
  • Synthesizing complex information, analysis to form clear recommendations
  • Craftcompelling presentations to support the strategy process, deliver recommendations, and influence audiences at various levels across Schwab, including leadership inSIPSSand partner organizations
  • Monitor Schwab’s business results and plans, IOS results, and the industry to proactively surface potential opportunities and challengesto address
  • Support IOS organizational communication and team engagement efforts

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site four days per week in the specified locations.

This role is well suited for individuals looking to deepen their strategy expertise while gaining exposure across investment products, platforms, and senior leadership—often serving as a stepping-stone to broader strategy or investment leadership roles. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Consultative Experience-Minimumof3 years of business strategy experience, preferably in consulting, internal strategy, orfinancial servicesproduct management, and a minimum of 5+ years of total work experience
  • Asset managementacumen-Understanding of wealth management market and investment products (e.g., mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts)
  • Strong written communication skillswith ability to craft executive-level communications and presentations for internal and external audiences that articulate our vision, strategy, and progress

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in wealth or asset management preferred
  • Strategicplanning- Strategic thinker able to scope & frame ambiguous problems, think multiple steps ahead, and recognize second order impacts 
  • Executivepresence-Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders and influence outcomes through datadriven storytelling
  • Highly resourceful,adaptable, andcreative problem solverwho can thrive in a dynamic environment,solve issues as they arise, and drive progress in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to proactively advance work (independently and with teams) to meet tight deadlines
  • MBA preferred
