Schwab’s Workplace Services (WS) team is responsible for serving the client’s needs across our Retirement business, our Stock Plan Services business, and our Designated Brokerage Services business.

The Director of Stock Plan Services (SPS) Product Management will lead SPS Product strategy, execution, and the product teams that support our SPS business. The Director and their team will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SPS products and offers, ensuring market relevance, client value, and business performance. In addition, they and their team will be accountable for product strategy, change execution, daily management, and results for specific client products/offers, and client capabilities.

This includes supporting the international participant offer, administration capability offers, private equity products, and offers offered through our Advisor Services partners.

This director will help build and deliver the new business offers that lead to plan growth and retention and participant offers and extension. This individual and their team will be experts in what competitors are offering, add to the value proposition, work with marketing to build collateral, and be active in the industry sharing our SPS Products in the market, to clients and prospects.

This role will report to the Head of Workplace Services Experience and Product Management and will be an active member of the Stock Plan Service leadership team.

What you have


Required:

  • 5-10 + years in specific Equity Compensation experience
  • A minimum of 5+ years of direct people leadership, i.e., directly responsible for hiring, performance appraisals, etc.
  • 5+ years business product management
  • Track record of successful collaboration with key cross-functional partners to advance the SPS Digital Team’s objectives, including Marketing, Technology, Legal & Compliance, Risk among others.
  • Extremely strong client relationship management and negotiation skills
  • 5+ years of experience managing a significant budget and hiring plan
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Strong emotional intelligence/maturity and senior level executive presence.
  • An undergraduate degree

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree preferred.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
