The Digital Assets Business Operations & Strategy team is driving the strategy and execution of Schwab’s crypto offerings. The team leads high-impact initiatives that shape the future of Schwab’s presence in this rapidly evolving space. We combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights and recommendations that influence product development, market positioning, and long-term growth.

As Senior Manager, Digital Assets Business Operations & Strategy (individual contributor), you’ll help define and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across our digital assets offerings, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. This role will help set direction and support the activities to deliver on in-flight initiatives across the firm, and actively monitor the market for new developments or trends that can impact our strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute strategic digital assetsprojects, collaborating with cross-functional teams (g. product, technology, finance, risk, and operations)
  • Synthesize large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights, develop business cases, and inform product and market strategies
  • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations and analysis for executive audiences
  • Own workstreams within complex projects and drive end-to-end delivery, from ideation to implementation
  • Cultivate strong relationships across the organization and with external partners to advance strategic priorities; regularly collaborate with business partners across all levels to ensure that deliverables are high quality, completed on time, and with full stakeholder visibilityBuild and maintainperspectives on industry trends, competitor actions, and regulatory developments in digital assets
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a growth mindset across the company
  • Exercise professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience in strategy or operating roles within financial services, technology, or consulting
  • Documented familiarity, or ideally experience,with crypto or digital assets
  • Demonstrated experience instrategic planning, financial modeling, business case development, and market research
  • Excellent problem-solving and storytelling abilities; proficiencyin MS Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills; proven ability to work across functions and drive alignment
  • High attention to detail, sense of urgency, and comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Passion for learning and intellectual curiosity about emerging technologies and financial innovation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.)

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
