Organization/Role Description:

  • You will lead a team defining requirements for, and implementing changes to, Enterprise Architecture processes, methods and frameworks; architectures, technologies, capabilities, platforms and services.
  • You will lead a team based on, and individually contribute with, your substantial technical experience and expert-level architectural thinking addressing to complex multi-year transformation activities, strategic programs, projects and platform decisions
  • You will apply your substantial technical experience and expert-level architectural thinking to complex multi-year transformation activities and will directly contribute to strategic programs and projects.

What you have


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of leading and managing architecture, consulting and development teams, with demonstrated project management, resource management, consulting and solution delivery capabilities.
  • 10+ years of architecture definition and practices, with a strong enterprise architecture background.
  • Demonstrated enterprise architecture leadership for governance processes and programs at the strategic, blueprint and project level.
  • Demonstrated success and progression as a technology professional in a large commercial enterprise, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and provide direct, timely performance feedback; experience setting direction, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in executive presentation and escalation management.
  • Background in consulting roles, strong leadership by influence, adaptability to multiple styles of management and decision authority.
  • Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
  • Broad and deep knowledge of IT/software technology and trends, domain knowledge and experience in, application architecture, cloud based application development, web services, middleware, infrastructure architecture and security architecture.
  • Agility to work across multiple levels of the organization from developers to senior managers.

Specific Competencies:

  • Architecture Management - Leading the design, implementation, and ongoing support of architectural initiatives from inception to operational maintenance, with a focus on driving initiatives across teams and enterprises.
  • Managing Performance (PL) - Taking responsibility for one’s employees’ performance, by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against the goals, ensuring feedback and addressing performance issues promptly.
  • Enterprise Architecture - Managing the integration of the organization’s technology strategy with business processes and goals through an effective enterprise architecture
  • Attention To Communication – Ensuring that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed.
