Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The Marketing Technology Planning & Enablement (MTPE) organization is focused on defining and delivering a modern, scalable Marketing ecosystem of capabilities, technology, and solutions that enable marketers to continue to drive growth within an ever-changing digital landscape and business environment. As the Cross-Enterprise Marketing, Senior Manager, you will lead the effort to drive scale, efficiency and ease through deployment of marketing technology solutions supporting multiple lines of business at Schwab, with a focus on reducing or eliminating bespoke processes and solutions to enable consistent, predictable patterns and architecture for empowering marketers to more easily achieve their goals.

This role partners closely with a broad set of business stakeholders across marketing, technology, data to clearly understand and define desired outcomes – and then drive towards shared technology solutions that reduce manual work, accelerate time to market, and ensure compliance in a highly regulated environment. By driving measurable improvements in overall efficiency and routinely implementing scalable solutions that directly address shared marketing pain points within the marketing organization, your leadership will help shape the marketing technology ecosystem of solutions established across Schwab’s marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business process analysis and needs assessment to align shared marketing solutions with a wide range of business priorities & initiatives.
  • Serve as a senior liaison across multiple business groups, as well as strategic projects, to create documentation for business and system requirements.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to improve marketing processes and platforms to make it easier, faster, and more efficient to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of platforms, capabilities, integrations and processes across multiple marketing channels.
  • Act as a bridge between stakeholders, marketing leadership, and technology and product partners to drive ongoing alignment on prioritization and MarTech solutions delivery
  • Define use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria for development teams to deliver marketing technology solutions that enable key experiences across Retail, Institutional, and Workplace audiences.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to communicate the vision, progress, and impact of shared capabilities and future-state marketing technology initiatives.
  • Develop and execute enablement and change management plans to drive successful, widespread adoption of key technologies and processes.

What you have

To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on marketing technology, data, process, and product management.
  • Clear understanding of how marketing automation and content management systems support the delivery of best-in-class customer experiences; focused on technology and solutioning vs. campaign and content development.
  • Experience applying agile frameworks in complex, highly matrixed organizations (Scaled Agile, etc.)
  • High degree of comfort in low-context settings; ability to quickly assess opportunities and challenges, and develop a plan for delivering key outcomes with imperfect or incomplete information.
  • Strong problem-solving and process optimization capacities when dealing with complex digital ecosystems.
  • Dynamic relationship-building and collaborative skills; a strong teammate with experience working with others to champion initiatives across multiple departments.
  • Strong project management skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach
  • High adaptability and flexibility for shifting focus – you will likely have to rapidly get up-to-speed with varied business models (B2C, B2B, B2B2C, etc.) and finding shared needs and solutions across multiple channels and experiences.
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
