If you are passionate about improving the employee experience and helping leaders navigate change, join the Change Management Center of Excellence within the Strategy Enablement team in Human Resources. Our mission is to help Schwab become the best version of itself through simple, scalable, and industry-leading change practices.

As a Senior Manager, Change Management, you will lead change efforts for critical HR and business initiatives. You will focus on the people side of change by reducing resistance, accelerating adoption, and enabling sustained behavior change so our people can do extraordinary work for our clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, delivering strategic consulting and strengthening firm-wide change capability through the Change@Schwab community and the broader enterprise change program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading change management for cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Developing and executing detailed change strategies, including impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and sponsor plans
  • Designing and delivering change tactics, communications, and training
  • Partnering closely with leaders, project teams, and center of excellence stakeholders to drive outcomes
  • Defining success measures and KPIs to ensure sustainable change
  • Driving simplicity and scale to improve efficiency and embed lasting transformation

What you have


To ensure we have fulfilled our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Organizational Change, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a dedicated organizational change management or consulting role, with a demonstrated record of leading change in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into practical, scalable change management strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build commitment, engagement, and alignment across stakeholder groups.
  • Advanced visual storytelling skills, including the ability to develop clear, compelling, clientready PowerPoint presentations and supporting materials.
  • Consultative, collaborative problemsolver who partners effectively across functions to design and deliver change solutions.
  • Highly collaborative working style, with a strong ability to build trust, credibility, and productive relationships.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strength in relationship management, including influencing without authority in matrixed environments.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing effectively on both nearterm and longterm initiatives.
  • Executionfocused and resilient, with the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt quickly to change, and deliver results under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification or other relevant change management certification.
  • Experience leading enterprise‑scale change initiatives across a broad range of transformation types, including process, technology, culture, and organizational shifts.
  • Experience working within a matrixed Human Resources organization aligned by Centers of Excellence.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry or another highly regulated environment.
