Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer (individual contributor) to help shape the future of Schwab’s Client Central platform and the broader ecosystem of tools that reps rely on every day. Client Central is a legacy enterprise platform used by more than 15,000 Schwab employees each day to support cashiering, client servicing, and other business-critical capabilities.  Key areas of focus for this role include transformational workstreams such as Broker-Dealer Modernization, Client Central Reimagined, and other highly strategic initiatives that modernize how reps serve clients across sales, service, and advice workflows.

You will translate complex business challenges into intuitive, scalable, and user-centered solutions across complex, data-dense workflows that connect client information, service interactions, relationship context, and rep tools. Your work will help advance Schwab’s modernization strategy by reducing friction, improving efficiency, and creating a more coherent experience across Client Central, related platforms, and the broader representative ecosystem — enabling reps to serve clients with greater confidence, speed, and effectiveness.
