Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States now and the future without employer sponsorship.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate to work on site 4 days per week in one of the specified locations.

Schwab’s Workplace Services (WS) team is responsible for serving the client’s needs across our Retirement Plan Services (RPS), Stock Plan Services (SPS) and Designated Brokerage Services (DBS) businesses.

The Sponsor and Consultant Offer Manager is responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for two distinct offers: (1) the plan sponsor offer (our primary client offer) and (2) the consultant offer (a strategic stakeholder offer that influences and drives U.S. business). You would own the end-to-end offer for both audiences ensuring each offer has clear value propositions, success measures, and prioritized roadmaps.

You will report to the Director of Integrated Benefits Offer Manager and serves as the primary champion for both offers - partnering closely with leaders across RPS and SPS and cross-functional teams across the firm to organize, package, activate, and maintain a competitive plan sponsor offer and consultant offer. The Offer Manager will balance near-term delivery with long-term strategy, proactively manage tradeoffs between sponsor and consultant needs, and establish shared governance and KPI reporting to track progress and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and own the long‑term vision and multi‑year roadmaps for the plan sponsor and consultant offers.
    • Plan sponsor offer: (including reporting, analytics, and insights), informed by sponsor research and service data; translate sponsor pain points and root causes into prioritized enhancements.
    • Consultant offer: define the consultant experience strategy and engagement model; translate consultant needs into capabilities, materials, and insights that strengthen consultant advocacy and influence business growth.
  • Design and launch new products and enhancements for both offers—clearly defining what is shared (core capabilities) versus what is offer-specific (sponsor-facing vs consultant-facing experience, tools, and content)—using data analytics, behavioral insights, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Develop and refine pricing strategies and market positioning for each offer, ensuring the sponsor value proposition and consultant value proposition are distinct, compelling, and aligned to target segments.
  • Deliver presentations serving as the SME, clearly articulating the value of both offers to internal and external stakeholders. This may include sales finals, plan sponsor and consultant meetings, and/or industry events.
  • Partner and influence across the organization (and, when needed, the broader firm) to activate roadmap deliverables on time and within scope, while establishing clear intake, prioritization, and governance mechanisms to manage tradeoffs between the two offers.
  • Establish KPI frameworks, reporting practices, and maintain key product/offer artifacts aligned with product management discipline, including separate KPI views for the plan sponsor and consultant offer.
