Retail Field Enablement is a diverse and multi-faceted organization that supports Retail frontline professionals and internal partners through Intake and Capacity Planning, Change Management, Retail Field Communications, and Retail Knowledge Management.

The Retail Field Communications team partners with Retail businesses, product owners, and change managers to develop and deliver communications for initiatives impacting client-facing professionals.

Reporting to a Director, Retail Field Communications, the Manager, Retail Field Communications supports the execution of field communication strategies and day-to-day delivery of Retail communications. This role plays a key hands-on and consultative role, helping partners shape clear, effective messages and ensuring content is delivered through the appropriate channels at the right time.

The Manager works cross-functionally across the Retail enterprise and with other Schwab organizations to coordinate, draft, and execute thoughtful communications that enable field readiness and awareness.

What you have


· Support the execution of the Retail Field Communications strategy, contributing to consistency, quality, and efficiency in how field-facing communications are developed and delivered

· Partner with Retail business teams, product owners, and change managers to understand communication needs for initiatives impacting client-facing professionals

· Draft, edit, and curate Retail field-facing communications that are simple, clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate

· Leverage available AI-enabled tools to accelerate drafting, editing, summarization, and synthesis of communications, while applying strong judgment to ensure accuracy, clarity, tone, and compliance with established governance and standards

· Provide guidance and recommendations to partners on communication voice, timing, and channel selection

· Coordinate and facilitate the prioritization and distribution of communications across established channels, including:

  • KC Retail News
  • Teams
  • Retail Field Enablement (RFE) emails

· Ensure communications align with established governance, standards, and timelines

· Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency, clarity, and field experience

· Collaborate closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to support smooth execution of day-to-day communication needs

· Support special communications needs as required, including high-priority or time-sensitive update

· Comfortably using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and quality of work—such as drafting, refining content, and synthesizing information—while maintaining a high standard of judgment and attention to detail

· Demonstrating a strong service mindset and ownership of deliverables
