The Director, Business Strategy, Retirement Operations willdrive modernization initiatives acrossRetirement Plan Services and Broker Dealer Retirement Operationsby balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.  

The primary focus will be on developingframeworks for various initiatives that drive operational excellence (process optimization, scale and efficiency initiatives, integration planning, change etc.) to support the modernization of our Broker Dealer and Retirement Plan Operations. 

The Director will lead cross-functional teams, influence senior leadership, and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment and measurable results.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that support operational excellence and modernization priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, influencing decisions and fostering engagement.
  • Inspire and motivate teams, buildconsensus,and drive progress in dynamic environments.
  • Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, adapting plans to changing priorities and challenges.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across teams and functions to accelerate outcomes.

What you have


Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in business strategy, program management, and leadership within the investment industry.
  • Direct people leadership experience
  • Experience crafting and delivering impactful executive presentations articulating our vision, strategy, and progress for both internal and external audiences
  • Experience leading strategic project engagements with cross-functional stakeholders, including C-suite level executives (e.g.firmwide strategic decisions, growth & efficiency opportunities, operating model enhancements).
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complexity and communicate effectively with executive presence.
  • Proven success in influencing senior leadership and driving strategic decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree
