The Corporate Security Background Investigation Associate is responsible for operational support for new to firm or reoccurring background screenings. Responsible for effectively communicating with candidates, new hires, hiring managers, HR partners (e.g. Talent Acquisition), and other business partners (e.g. registration, compliance, security, etc.).

What you’ll do:

  • Process candidate Background Screenings: some of the duties include, but are not limited to: review of application for completeness and disclosures; obtain any and all information needed to initiate Background screening; review for discharges and disclosures;; initiate background screening through our vendor to begin the screening process; verify professional licenses and designations; verify employment and/or education, as needed; review of credit report flagged by vendor. 
  • Drug Testing – monitor for scheduling, notifications, and results.
  • Enter background and drug screening results and CRD/licensing information into candidate’s record for final review by manager.
  • Monitor inbox, respond to inquiries, other duties as assigned
  • Corporate Security-related special projects
  • Provide testing support for HR Technology, as needed. 
  • Build effective and strong relationships with our Talent Advisors, HRIS, HRSS team, and other partners.   
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, communicate effectively, and deliver seamless service & support.
  • Maintain and/or exceed Service Level Agreements

Please note: this position is Monday - Friday during standard business hours with a hybrid work model (4 days in office, 1 day working from home). It is only available in the locations listed. Candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate on their own to one of the listed locations.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school/GED
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR-related role
  • Exceptional at customer service with a focus on the candidate and employee experience
  • Operational excellence with a focus on producing high-quality results
  • Ability to be effective at problem-solving, process improvement, and having a positive impact to user and employee experience
  • Effective at communicating, problem-solving, teamwork, and results-oriented
  • Well-organized with the capability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible and able to multi-task, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Corporate Security, and/or Background Investigations
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Corporate Security systems (e.g., Workday, iCIMS)
