Trading Solutions Intern

This internship offers hands-on exposure to how Schwab supports clients' trading experiences across brokerage platforms, products, and services. Interns will contribute to projects that support trading representatives and business partners while developing durable skills in communication, problem solving, organization, and operational execution.

Through research, process documentation, presentation development, and project support, interns gain insight into how trading teams help clients navigate markets, leverage trading tools, and achieve their financial goals.

What You'll Do

  • Support Trading Solutions teams through research, analysis, and project coordination activities.
  • Assist in creating presentations, reports, and communication materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Help organize and maintain documentation, process notes, and training resources.
  • Track deliverables, project milestones, and action items to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with teammates and partners to gather information and execute assigned work.
  • Identify opportunities to improve clarity, efficiency, or organization within existing processes.
  • Learn how Schwab's trading platforms, products, and services support client needs.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and entering junior-level standing by internship start date.
  • Have not completed your bachelor's degree prior to the internship.
  • Able to commit to 40 hours per week during the 9-week Summer 2027 internship program.
  • Able to begin full-time employment between August 2027 and September 2028.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
  • Willing to relocate at personal expense if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities through coursework, projects, leadership roles, or extracurricular activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other productivity tools.
  • Experience creating presentations, conducting research, or organizing information for business purposes.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and interest in financial markets, investing, trading, or client service.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a commitment to follow-through and continuous learning.
  • Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly and apply feedback effectively.
