The Technical Project Manager (TPM) leads cross‑functional coordination and delivery of complex technical programs across engineering, SRE, operations, infrastructure, and database teams. This role improves organizational predictability, aligns teams on priorities, and strengthens execution discipline across initiatives tied to reliability, automation, platform modernization, and operational excellence. The TPM serves as a force multiplier for technical leadership, enabling engineering teams to focus on building and enhancing systems while ensuring that program execution, communication, and governance are well‑managed.

Position Responsibilities:

Cross‑Team Project & Program Coordination

Lead planning, execution, RAID management, and milestone tracking for multi‑team engineering initiatives. Ensure alignment across engineering, SRE, product, operations, DBA, and infrastructure groups while driving clarity, accountability, and progress.

Drive SRE & Reliability Engineering Initiatives
Partner with SRE and engineering teams to define and deliver initiatives related to automation, incident reduction, observability improvements, environment stability, and operational readiness. Help operationalize SLO frameworks, error budgets, and reliability-focused improvements.

Technical Execution, Roadmapping & Dependency Management
Build and manage integrated roadmaps across multiple service areas. Identify technical risks, interdependencies, long‑pole work, and sequencing requirements for platform upgrades, refactors, cloud adoption, migration efforts, and other engineering-led improvements.

Process Improvement, Governance & Operational Maturity
Define and evolve processes for intake management, cross‑team communication, change governance, release coordination, and post‑incident follow‑
through. Deliver consistent reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and program updates that support transparency and continuous improvement.

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years proven experience managing technical programs or complex engineering initiatives in a multi‑team environment.
  • 3+ years experience with SDLC, DevOps/SRE practices, infrastructure lifecycle, or platform/application operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to run cross‑functional planning meetings, maintain RAID logs, and drive execution through influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Experience coordinating work across engineering, operations/SRE, database, infrastructure, and product teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, SAFe Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ISTQB, CSTE
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist for Agile/SAFe environments
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream technology projects with enterprise impact
  • Skilled in balancing scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining quality standards
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and driving adoption of SAFe practices across teams
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Exceptional ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
  • Skilled in creating clear, concise project documentation and executive-level reporting
  • Expertise in identifying risks, managing dependencies, and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
