Your opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

The Enterprise and Operational Risk Testing (EORT) team is part of the Corporate Risk Management (CRM) organization and executes objective and thematic evaluations of risk management activities across the Company. These quarterly evaluations include risk-based tests across enterprise risk governance, operational processes, standards adherence, as well as testing the design and effectiveness of controls across the Company’s Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSAs). Reporting to the Director of the EORT team, the Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to deliver Tableau analytical insights into business processes, supporting EORT’s evaluations and scaling our risk-based coverage along with our testing strategy. This will include automating routine testing through continuous monitoring techniques while ensuring high standards of data integrity and accuracy, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing approach. You will also own the testing coordination resources, working with business contacts and data owners across the three lines of defense to obtain the appropriate data sources to support Schwab’s joint testing coordination efforts and reduce testing’s impact on business units. In addition, this role will also support execution on a limited number of assigned testing areas as capacity allows.

This role is an individual contributor but may manage team members on scheduled testing projects and will be expected to execute testing. This role requires occasional travel out of state for training or specific projects may be required (less than 5%).
