Your opportunity

Charles Schwab UK (CSUK) is an affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc, and operates primarily as a business development and marketing hub, promoting Schwab and its services in the UK. CSUK’s main function is to introduce UK resident clients to Schwab’s available products and services, and to assist CS&Co by ensuring that UK investors have a seamless experience between our UK and US operations.

The Investment Consultant is responsible for supporting branch business development and client loyalty goals by providing an exceptional client experience for leads/prospects and non-practice clients. The consultant will follow up on lead opportunities by phone or face-to-face meetings to convert prospects into clients, consolidate assets, help open new accounts and increase client engagement through effective onboarding. The consultant will also help with preparation and hosting of workshops. In doing so, the consultant will perform regulated activities and ensure full compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.

The Investment Consultant proactively works with potential clients to discuss their financial needs and to help them achieve financial fitness.  The consultant engages prospects in needs-based dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and to position the appropriate Schwab products and services. The consultant reaches out to prospects primarily through outbound calling but also communicates with clients via group workshops, inbound calls, emails, video meetings and hard copy correspondence.

The consultants are also responsible for identifying and referring additional opportunities to both Senior Investment Consultants and International Financial Consultants as appropriate.
