This position within the Workday Center of Excellence team will be tasked with being the lead HRIS

Workday on Global Payroll and Time Tracking. This role within the HR Technology group will be responsible for creating improvements and efficiencies within Workday, with responsibilities of Global Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking. This position is a technical leader of Workday Configuration demand, and active development member of the Workday Scrum team, accountable for tasks assigned and the completion of tasks including the configuration implementation guides for release to production.

  • Working with Payroll and Compensation Product Managers to understand requirements and develop
  • and deliver solutions based on those requirements.
  • Configuring and implementing business process enhancements.
  • Global Payroll updates and support, clear understanding of various differences and calculations
  • Partnering with other technology resources to design and build integrations.
  • Leading functional and regression testing for enhancements, projects, and Workday releases.
  • Working within an agile team to create iterative solutions that meet business needs.
  • Training team members as needed.
  • Performing fit/gap analysis on processes to drive continuous improvement.

What you have


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven experience working on configurations and support of the Workday platform.
  • Proven experience leading and supporting Workday for Global Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking.
  • Experience with an agile/scrum environment.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives at one time.
  • Able to work well independently and under pressure.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive data with confidentiality and integrity; ability to exercise appropriate judgment.
  • Experience with Workday Object Transporter and Kainos desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of the use of Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Designs advanced support processes and mentors peers to optimize functionality and security.
  • Establishes robust processes to create, secure, and monitor data pipelines and stores.
  • Designs efficient processes to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.
  • Develops QA processes that confirm compliance and ensure operational reliability.
  • Streamlines requirement analysis and validation for enhanced efficiency.
  • Designs security processes to enhance security and regulatory compliance.
  • Enhances processes that merge predictive and adaptive software design techniques.
  • Designs efficient processes that ensure quality and resolve issues in software components.
  • Optimizes processes for secure, compliant, and reliable software releases.
  • Optimizes design processes by integrating predictive or adaptive methods with cloud principles.
