Role Description

This role builds and enhances the technology stack supporting Billing and Invoicing capabilities across Schwab products and services. It focuses on C#/.NET, modern engineering practices, GitHub Copilot usage, and scalable application delivery across internal interfaces, integrations, data aggregation, fee calculation, and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver solutions as part of an Agile Scrum team.

• Mentor and coach junior team members using software development principles and practices.

• Support and triage issues andparticipatein production support to build resilient and secure systems.

• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define software requirements, stories, features, and priorities.

• Deliver new concepts and features alongside development peers in an agile environment.

• Use automated test tools and frameworks to support high-quality software delivery.

• Drive low-level design of components and libraries for business use cases.

• Support productionreleasemigration and proactively manage risks, documentation, and code quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent practical experience.

• 8+yearsdeveloping large-scale software solutions using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, cloud-enabled technologies, and RESTful APIs.

• 5+ years working with containers, microservices, backend development, CI/CD, and automated testing.

• 5+ years with NoSQL and relational databases such as MongoDB, Aerospike, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

• 5+ years with event-driven architectures or messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.

• 3+ years with authentication protocols such as OAuth and SAML and integration layers with vendor systems.

• Agilemethodologyexperience,strong communication, solution discovery, collaboration, problem solving, mentoring, and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years with private and public cloud platforms such as PCF, GCP, or AWS.

• 2+ years of IT transformation and modernization experience from legacy to distributed platforms.

• Experience implementing batch applications using Control-M orHangfirescheduler.

• ExperienceleveragingMicrosoft Copilot or similar AI-powered productivity tools.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular orVueJS.

• Experience with Visio diagrams, architecture/design documentation, production/test environment documentation, JIRA, and Confluence.
