Organization / Role Description:

​This position is for a Salesforce developer, responsible for implementing innovative solutions that support our business.  The Sales and Service Technology team is a forward leaning development organization that leverages agile methodologies.  The position will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, and support of assigned Salesforce components within the Sales and Service Technology portfolio. This position will interact with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas within Schwab

What you have

Key Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience 
•3 - 4 years’ Salesforce design and development experience working across the full development and operational support life cycle
•Expertise in Salesforce Configuration & Administration, Workflow, Triggers, Process Builders, Visualforce, Apex coding and batch
•Experience with Lighting Web Component development and integration
•Understanding of Salesforce Communities and Managed Packages (Engageware, TaskRay, Conga) a plus.
•Experience integrating SOAP and RESTful Web Services is a plus.
•Knowledge of software design patterns
•Experience working with geographically distributed teams, working collaboratively across team boundaries
•Demonstrated ability to work alone or in a group while multi-tasking on different projects
•Working knowledge of the Agile/Scrum development methodology a plus.

Required Qualification:

Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications

▪ Consolidates software changes into secure, stable releases using best practices
▪ Ensures systems align with cloud architectures using modern design methodologies
