This role is part of the HR Technology team at Schwab, and will lead the Hyderabad Workday Center of Excellence team focused on enhancing the employee experience, improving capabilities and efficiency for the HR business team and well as foster team collaboration and engagement.  You will have the opportunity to build and lead a technical team focused on the support of Workday, as well as release management procedures, in the support of Workday - the core HRIS system at Schwab. Experience in technical leadership of Workday engineers and analysts is required.  Experience managing timelines, progress/status communications is required. • Supporting and maintaining Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent Management and Benefits, with experience in tenant management and release management
• Collaborating across development teams to help manage releases
• Leading technical team of Workday engineers that will provide tier 2/3 support, testing/QA support, and Release to Production support
• Partnering with Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Development Leads and Business leads in troubleshooting, action planning and resolving medium to large problems in our HR Technology environments.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday Platform experience, including 2+ years in team leadership, contributing to the Workday implementation(s) of HR products – HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, Recruiting
• Best of Suite / Workday experience a plus
• Proven ability to drive and implement product roadmaps, manage complex projects and lead strategic initiatives
• Strong communication, analytical and collaboration skills, with experience interacting at all levels of an organization
• Agile experience and familiarity with production delivery release processes
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills leading to successful interactions with technical and business audiences
• Leverages deep expertise to establish robust methods for efficient technical support
• Optimizes methods for integrating, consolidating, and cleansing data with compliance
• Leads initiatives to establish advanced incident response methods and optimize processes
• Implements advanced QA testing methodologies and drives robust compliance verification
• Utilizes functional expertise improve requirements management processes across teams, projects, or programs
• Manages initiatives to optimize controls and manage cryptographic functions
• Optimizes software design methodologies through effective leadership and process refinement
• Executes advanced methodologies to refine software development processes and secure reliability
• Optimizes software release and deployment strategies to enhance quality and efficiency
• Leads the execution of system design strategies for cloud-based environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with KAINOS Smart Test and Smart Products is Preferred
• Experience with JIRA/ATLASSIAN tools is Preferred
