​​We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing software development team. In this role, you will balance people leadership with technical credibility — managing team health, growing engineers, and partnering with business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on a complex technical roadmap.​

What you have

Key Responsibilities

​​Lead & Develop the Team — Manage a team of senior, mid-level, and junior software engineers; conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, career development planning, and hiring
Drive Delivery — Own sprint planning, backlog health, and delivery commitments; remove blockers and ensure the team operates at a sustainable, productive pace
Stakeholder & Requirements Management — Partner with Director-level business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements; translate business needs into actionable engineering work
Technical Oversight — Maintain sufficient technical depth in Java / Spring Boot and .NET to evaluate trade-offs, challenge estimates, and guide architectural decisions alongside technical leads
Mentor & Coach — Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning, and psychological safety across the team
Cross-Team Collaboration — Coordinate dependencies with peer engineering teams, product owners, architects, and QA to align on roadmap execution
Process & Continuous Improvement — Identify and address delivery inefficiencies; champion Agile practices and drive retrospective outcomes to measurable improvements​

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise and Educational Requirements

​​Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a formal people management or team lead role
Hands-on software development background with proficiency in Java / Spring Boot and/or .NET (C#)
Proven ability to manage requirements and prioritization conversations with business stakeholders and Director-level leadership
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
Experience managing delivery in Agile/Scrum environments​
