What you have


Strategic Leadership and Global Partnership
- India Site Leadership: Establish and lead thinkorswim Technology's first India footprint, including operating model, organization design, and phased scaling plans up to 50 professionals.
- Enterprise Alignment: Serve as the primary India liaison across product, architecture, operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure clear priorities, transparency, and cross-functional alignment.
- Technical Domain Representation: Adequately understand and communicate key technical concepts in order management and trading to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Delivery Execution and Operational Excellence
- End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery for specific modules in the TOS ecosystem, ensuring predictability across scope, timeline and quality
- Engineering Excellence: Drive modern SDLC practices, CI/CD discipline, observability, release governance, and reliability engineering for sustainable throughput.
- Risk and Controls: Ensure adherence to security, privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements within a regulated financial-services environment.

Talent and Organization Development
- Talent Strategy: Build, develop, and retain high-performing engineering leaders and teams; implement hiring, onboarding, and succession strategies.
- Leadership Development: Coach managers and technical leaders; establish clear accountability, performance expectations, and growth pathways.
- Culture and Engagement: Foster an inclusive, high-accountability culture grounded in collaboration, ownership, and client-focused outcomes

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technology delivery, including 10+ years in people leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience in a large, global Financial Services organization.
- Proven software delivery leadership in highly connected ecosystems with multiple dependencies across platforms and teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting and influence in a matrixed environment.

Technical and Domain Qualifications
- Experience with event-driven integration patterns such as asynchronous messaging, pub/sub architectures, and inter-system communication using APIs, queues, or messaging middleware.  Java experience is strongly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of distributed systems, including high-availability design, resiliency patterns, and dependency management across tightly integrated platforms.
- Fundamental understanding of equities and options trading, including order lifecycle, market data, and operational dependencies.
- Experience working in regulated environments where auditability, resiliency, and control effectiveness are critical.
