As a Sr. Appian Developer, you will need to be a self-starter that works well with others. You will be working on a mission critical, highly visible application called ComplianceOne. ComplianceOne facilitates firm compliance with FINRA regulatory requirements through business process automation and development/maintenance of related integrations.

• Design, Implement, demo, and coordinate deployment of new enhancement and maintenance deliverables.
• Work closely with analysts, Product Owners, QA, and business partners to refine requirements, validate solution design, and support production.
• Contribution to long-term technology strategy, deep understanding of Appian platform capabilities with special focus on AI related accelerators
• Ensure development work timelines are coordinated with release schedules and project goals.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field/degree experience
• 5 + years of experience in building and delivering Appian software solutions
• 5+ Experience with Appian application architecture and designing end to end solutions
• Experience working with Appian cloud is preferred
• Experience in monitoring and identifying risks from Appian health checks
• Experience designing and executing test plans
• Experience in translating business process software requirement specifications into prototypes and solutions
• Experience designing data schemas and models
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL is preferred
• Experience developing integrations using APIs
• Experience with agile software development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise RPA tools such as Appian RPA or UIPath
• Experience with Advanced Appian features such as Process HQ, Agentic AI, or Data Fabric
• Experience in Microsoft .NET (specifically C#) and other related web technologies
• SQL experience and familiarity with the Microsoft SQL Server Platform
• Understanding of CI (Continuous Integration) / CD (Continuous Delivery) and why these practices are beneficial
• Experience with the Atlassian set of tools for Agile project/code management (BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence)
