The SCS Quality Assurance (QA) team supports a wide range of functional, automated, and performance testing across a wide range of product lines. Quality Assurance in SCS covers multiple Cyber-Security Domains including Authorization, Authentication, and Data Loss Prevention supporting legacy and leading-edge solutions. Fast-paced environment with opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills as a Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plans, designs, develops, and executes test plans, scenarios and test cases for software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.   
  • Acts as a subject matter expert with other teams on QA processes mentoring junior members to ensure effective and efficient delivery of QA services across Schwab Cyber Security.         
  • Conducts sophisticated technical and program analysis to support testing concepts for solving problems and/or making decisions and effectively communicates with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you have


Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • 7+ years of hands-on QA engineering and testing experience with progressive responsibilities/scope including but not limited to designing and executing API, UI, Scheduled Jobs, and DB test scenarios/cases.  
  • 4 + years of experience with automated testing including designing or enhancing frameworks supporting functional and non-functional testing
  • 4 + years of experience with front-end automation tools, such as Selenium, WebDriver, or something similar
  • 3+ years of QA experience with cyber related applications or functionalities such as Identity Governance, Authorization, Authentication, or Data Loss Prevention.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff on QA processes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, both oral and written is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-starter: takes initiative and can work independently.
  • Well-organized and disciplined with high attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable working with various business domains

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP or other related certifications are preferred.
