The position is a technical individual contributor responsible for directly executing and validating Imperva agent installations across the expanded estate, completing installation sign‑offs, and maintaining a steady operational burn rate. In addition, the role supports related privileged access and database access security controls, including non‑human identity (NHI) credential security and administrative database MFA enforcement. The work blends hands‑on technical execution with operational coordination to ensure agents, access controls, and authentication requirements are implemented consistently, operating as intended, and meeting audit and regulatory expectations across on‑prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and validate database activity monitoring agent installations across on‑prem environments
• Drive installation completion and operational sign‑offs to maintain a steady deployment burn rate across the expanded estate
• Coordinate installation scheduling, prerequisites, and change activities with database, infrastructure, and application teams
• Troubleshoot installation failures, agent communication issues, and coverage gaps; drive remediation to closure
• Validate post‑install operational readiness (telemetry, connectivity, alerting) and support transition into steady‑state operations
• Maintain accurate tracking of installation status, exceptions, and audit control evidence.
• Identify repeatable failure patterns and partner with engineering to reduce friction through standardized procedures and automation
• Provide clear status reporting, metrics, and risk summaries to management and audit stakeholders

What you have

Required Qualifications:       

• Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrixed teams
• Strong documentation discipline with the ability to maintain accurate runbooks, tracking, and audit evidence
• Ability to troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues across server, network, and application dependencies
• Working knowledge of database environments and operational change processes (ITIL/change management)
• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting security agents or monitoring tooling at scale
• 3+ years of cybersecurity, infrastructure operations, or security tooling experience in production environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to execute security improvements within complex technical environments and matrixed organizations
• Experience working across infrastructure, identity, database, and application teams to support coordinated security outcomes
• Strong practical understanding of information security controls and their operational application in enterprise environments
• Working familiarity with certificate‑based authentication, workload identity, and service‑to‑service authentication models
• Hands‑on experience supporting credential hygiene initiatives and reducing unmanaged or legacy access patterns in large environments
• Experience supporting audit and regulatory requirements such as FFIEC, PCI, or comparable controlframeworks
• Industry‑recognized security certification (e.g., CISSP or equivalent) preferred
